Watch For What's Under the Gold

Title:

Both up and down, but left and right,
Filling your eyelids with things of light.
Shiny, but not made of precious metal.
Bright and sparkly—the burning unsettle.
Lots and lots of yellow gold, lots of red gold.

There is no gold!...
there is NO g o l d!

  1. Noor, Nice poem. I like the way the video expands on the poem, if I've got it right--It's a version of all the glitters is not gold. Do you know this poem: http://www.poetryfoundation.org/poem/173567? Or the Merchant of Venice of reference: http://shakespeare.mit.edu/merchant/merchant.2.7.html? I love the "title" image. I do wish you had possibly developed the poem a little further so that the final emphatic repetition would be an even stronger repudiation. Nice work, though.
