Noor, Lovely poem and post. I love the parenthetical. It's the heart of this poem, and complicates the "message" by addressing, and understanding, the needs out of which the impulse it responds to come. Nice us of different fonts to echo different registers, great use of multimedia.
ReplyDeleteFirst off I want to just say how wonderful your blog is with every post it is obvious you really take the time and put a lot of effort and heart into what you post! I love how you change the fonts and bold some words or make some all capitalized, it adds a different layer of fun and sophistication to your work. My favorite line in this poem is "find them, possess them, keep them" it really stood out to me. I also like your use of multimedia, after we workshopped your blog in class your use of multimedia actually inspired me to use video clips to go along with my posts instead of just pictures.
